However, time taken in this system is more as compare to Pre-cast or Composite Construction Techniques. This system is much light in weight as compare to traditional construction system.

Thin Joint Masonry (Concrete Block)

Thin joint masonry is a fast, clean and accurate system of construction, designed to lower costs by reducing the time it takes to build walls. It uses a pre-mixed, cement-based bagged product that is mixed with water to produce a thin layer mortar. When used with hollow/concrete blocks, this product can reduce the depth of mortar from 10mm to 3mm or less. Thin layer mortar sets much more rapidly than traditional mortar, increasing productivity. The system also offers improved thermal performance and air tightness and reduced site wastage
